Le Môle Traversée

Le Môle (1863m) is prominently visible from Geneva and a very popular hike for a good reason. Usually it would be considered an easy hike, but we are starting from the valley floor using the Léman Express as our transport crossing from Marignier to Bonneville.

There are no major difficulties on this hike, but the altitude gain is significant and the first 900m in the forest are rather steep. You need to be in good physical shape. From the summit we will have unobstructed views over the Mont Blanc massif, and the masses of hikers going the normal way ;-)

• Train tickets: 22 CHF with demi-tarif
• Ski Club tax: 5 CHF (15 CHF non-members)

Transport

• RL3 08:31 Genève Cornavin – 08:47 Genève Eaux-Vives – 9:44 Marignier
• Take the train either from Cornavin or Eaux-Vives. Hike leaders will join in Eaux-Vives. We meet in the last cart.
• Return from Bonneville with the 16:25 or 18:25 train.
